Funny you should mention Alvin. When I was a tiny kid and had no idea that animated characters weren't real <g>, I had a major crush on Alvin.

Ha ha ha! Well, I would love to see that!

And edgy, indeed, Addie. Alvin was such a scamp. I wanted to marry him. (Oh, I can see this showing up in Guess Who now...which roomie wanted to marry Alvin the Chipmunk when she was a child and thought cartoons were real?)

I also liked Spanky from the Our Gang series, even though by the time I was watching that show, Spanky was probably older than my grampa.

I know. Aw. While I was looking for George Spanky McFarland's picture, I read that he was 3 years old when he began doing "Our Gang" in the 30's, and that he died in 1993, but no birth date of age when he died. His star was placed on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood in 1994.

I don't plant bulbs until January or February.

Did you return that defective bulb planter? You should tell Menard's that you had MORE luck with plastic spoon from McDonald's.

Everything here in the south was incredibly overgrown. We have to elbow our way through a 12' tall bouganvillea and a 9' croton to get to the back yard now.
