Thanks for the hugs y'all.

Well 31 days and counting. Though with my luck being as this is my last pregnancy, I will be over due. Which to a degree is fine. Rather be over due and have hubby here than be a week early and deliver while he is in Vegas on a business trip.

Oh, and whoever sent the rain take it back! Please....

Hope hubby is home when the wee one decides to make an appearance.

Hey I set up a party in my folder.. can't get into the rooms so we can meet there it's all set with goodies. Wonder if I should set up a birthing room there. Now that would be a novel idea.. have a Aurora I think you need it now. lol.. a nice cold non alcoholic one that is..

Hi sunflower! So sorry I haven't been in before now. Having a new one at home has taken up alot of my time.

Portia Elizabeth was born on 09/06/03 at 12:01am weighing 7 pounds 5 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. She's a true blessing.

No problem I remember what its like

Although I have never heard the name Portia before it sounds nice. 7 lbs
5 ounces is a perfect size for a newborn.

Blessings to Mother and new Daughter and I hope they are doing fine and I want to say Congrats. There's nothing like a new baby to put a smile on everyone's face

Thanks for the congrats! She does put a smile on our faces. Portia (almost pronounced like the car porche), was my grandmothers name. A beautiful name for a beautiful woman on both the inside and outside. A name well suited for our new little one.

(((((((( Portia Elizabeth ))))))))) Welcome to the world. It's a crazy world at times, but it's also a wonderful world. A world full of color, light, and some darkness. World of love , joy, some sadness, and much hope. You are a very lucky little one Portia. You were born into love there is a wonderful world out there for you to explore. Have fun. Take your time . Know that you have a great family who loves you with all their heart. God bless you wee little Portia as you grow up to be a wonderful young adult..
God Bless and keep you safe .
Much love to you and your family.

I had to tell you Aurora, that I had a customer call today, with the name of Portia and when I pronouced her name, she wanted to know how I did that. She said it was the first time someone had pronouced her name correctly. I told her I had a good friend that named her daughter after her grandmother and told us how to pronounce it. She thought that was cool!

How would one incorrectly pronounce Portia?
