{{{{{Les}}}}} and {{{{{Friends}}}}}

I started out the day surly, first because I stepped in a hairball on my way to the john in the dark (ewwww!). So I had a mess to clean up while half-asleep. Then, my Ventura document wouldn't open off a Zip disk. But, when I transferred the contents of the Zip to the hard drive, it worked fine. Whew! I'm busier with work-work than I have been in a while.
At lunch, I went to the ATM that I had beat upon the other day, and waited while the woman in front of me did her transaction. She felt compelled to tell me she had entered her code wrong, and it would take an extra minute. I was hungry, so I asked her if there was anywhere real nearby that served *good* bacon and eggs. She told me about a place across the street in an industrial park, so after getting my money (the ATM didn't hold a grudge nor call out the thought police!), I tried the Cafe Riches. It was French-themed, and I got *really* good scrambled egg whites, bacon the way I like it (first try!), and a biscuit that *was* a biscuit, not a brick! I motioned the grumpy-looking waitress over and told her the breakfast was just exceptional. She broke her dour look and said, "Oh, good - I thought you were going to complain." ROFL! I left her a big tip, poor lady!
Then, I spied the lingerie shop that I'd heard was in the area, and visited it briefly after brunch. They have cool clothes right up to size 4X, which is bigger than I need, so now I'm happy to have a place nearby where I can buy wild lingerie when I'm so inclined. All this put me in a great mood!
While working, I'm catching up laundry. The stuff I bought yesterday washed up nicely - the acid test! Oh, and forgive me if I've said it before, but it bears repeating - that new Downey Wrinkle Releaser is my favorite new product! If the hem of a pair of shorts, the placket of a blouse, etc. is wrinkled in the dryer, a few squirts of the wrinkle releaser, followed by tugging the fabric into the shape you want it, fixes the wrinkles without ironing! (It does require some drying time, though, so if it's work clothes, I'm best-off to do the de-wrinkling the night before.) I am stoked! For one who hates to iron, that stuff is heaven-sent!
Back to work. I'll catch you guys later!

We're going to get more boxes right after we drop the Taurus off for a brake job.
Maybe we'll pick up an extra marker and some tape while we're at it. {{{{roo}}}} {{{{Moon}}}}

(((Liam)))) Congrats on the upcoming move!

I had this dream and thought this was a good place to post it<g>
I fell asleep last night watching Conan O'Brien - the guest was 'CJ' from the 'West Wing' talk about visiting the new white house administration in D.C., and how Martin Sheen wasn't invited to any political functions like the rest of the West Wing cast because he called Dubya a moron.

Then I have this dream...

I'm living in a house in the mountains and there's a nice house on the property across from us for sale, a new house, but very quaint looking with a pseudo-country architectural look to it.
George W. Bush bought the house as his new home, and there were secret service agents all around his house, and sneaking around the outside of my house, one was trying to get in through the back door, dressed up incognito.
Then I was seeing inside the Bush home somehow, looking at the tacky way they decorated their house, kinda corny, with a print of illustrated mice in country dress on the bedroom sheets, and all sorts of country-decoration-flourishes throughout the house, and Dubya was often seen peering through the bushes looking towards our house in the dream.
There was also this spy-adventure-theme to the movie, and a sort of factory or something with huge vats of some toxic blue liquid, and I was trying to escape the secret service guys by sneaking through the factory, trying to avoid falling into one of those vats. At the end of the dream, I was sitting with some friends in a restaurant in my house, why there was a restaurant in my house I don't know, and everyone was sitting at attention, and I looked up and Dubya was walking in and talking to some of us. I looked away, the people I was with started laughing because I had just been making fun of him, and Dubya started to walk up to me, and I didn't know what I was going to say, then I woke up.

{{{{crayon}}}} that is one peculiar dream, friend! Don't you just love the way dreams hop from one subject to another, and change locale at the drop of a hat?
I especially like the mice on the sheets, though...ROFL {{{{IRISH}}}} Hi!
