ROFL!!!

Lou, how did you know that I always put my name down next to "paper goods" on school volunteer lists?<g>

I think this little soiree is shaping up to be a good time for all. And to think, it all started with a fava bean.

Thumbs up Igby Goes Down

Amazing! Fantastic!

You will either love Igby Goes Down or want your money back. I absolutely loved it!

The acting was amazing. The director did a phenomenal job. Kieran Culkin, Ryan Phillippe and Susan Sarandon were fantastic. Claire Danes is back and in top form. Bill Pullman in a small but integral part gave the most incredible performance! Each and every actor was top notch! Stellar! Stellar! Stellar!

However, this movie is not for everyone. It does have its comedic moments, but I wouldn't have used the word comedy in its billing. I would bill it as a drama with dark comedic moments. That's probably not an acceptable category.<g>

For lack of a better description, "Igby Goes Down" is "The Catcher in the Rye" meets "Rushmore".

I thought this movie was amazing. If you like odd, off-the-wall characters, in odd, off-the-wall situations, then you'll be amazed too.

nah those odd off the wall characters and situations do nothing for ME!

It's definitely on my list Addie, thanks!!

Speaking of odd and off the wall...I saw Freddy Got Fingered the other night. Little TOO odd there! You don't wanna be eating a snack during certain scenes. YIKES!

Yeah but they made some mistakes in the open door close door scenario...

I think I am going to see Red Dragon tomorrow now that I know who Ed Norton is :-)

ROFL to his girlfriend!

Liam? I stayed away from "The Others" because I thought I would get too scared. Not too scary?

I saw Moonlight Mile last weekend. It wasn't a perfect story but the acting was amazing. Jake Gyllenhaal (The Good Girl) is just out of this world! In many more ways than one.<g> I think it's well worth seeing. The soundtrack is fantastic too!

Addie, it is more suspenseful than scary, but Drew saw it and wasn't scared...and (here's the more telling fact) I didn't have any nightmares about it. It's an extremely well done film, a true Victorian story...I would recommend it. Don't let anyone tell you the end!
