I would also like to add I am Self employed, work from home mom. I work thru the Arthritis foundation of Texas. I also like to volunteer at local nursing homes, and have in the past volunteered at local animal shelter's.

Hello,
I was in an abusive marriage. I am now seperated pending a divorce. Never in my worst night mares would I have imagined how abusive a man could be using our legal system. Well I have been through and continue therapy and am confident that I will never be in another abusive relationship. I hope to learn and maybe share my experiences from this site.

I had been a member of WOW WomensSpace for years. I had not been in the chat room for quite a long time. I forgot my password and I believe I remembered my username but was not sure. I enjoyed my time in the group and had thought I would drop back in and see who was still there. I just wanted to reconnect once again. It was so much fun sharing events, having virtual cookouts, food fights and just plain fun conversations without the profanity, soliciting for boyfriends or girlfriends, etc. I missed everyone and wanted to get back in.

i'm a 47 yr old women living in canada.what i hope for is to have other women i can talk to online friends that wont judge me,an i wont judge them,onlyto encourge.this is a big step for me.but its a step in the right direction.

I found Women Online Worldwide by accident and boy am I glad I did. Sometimes I feel I'm lost at sea, all alone and I don't know what direction to turn. I have longed to have someone I can share my highs and lows with but sometimes even close friends aren't there when you need them. I know I'll make lots of friends here at WOW.

I am interested in talking with women who are into a variety of activities, such as: yoga, gardening, social justice concerns, walking, travel and socializing. I live in a intentional community in Boston and am interested in talking with women about such situations in the US and around the world.
