Rebecca!

With hair of strawberry blonde, and beautiful blue eyes. No! not five feet tall. She's an "Itty Bitty Pretty One" at fifteen months old she has her ever curious mind ready to search and destroy what's in her path. As quick as she is to give a hug that "Look" will let you know Beccaboo is giving you a way to go.
Legs that forget to walk because they are to busy running to take something away from her brother and sisters. Oh my as young as she is they step back. rofl. Determined to get whatever it is she wants.Siblings love her and she loves them back with a big little heart.
Just don't tell her she is to little to do something. Rebecca's will do her best to prove you wrong.
Stories yes she does her darndest to tell you stories. You would have to laugh just to see the expression on that sweet little cupie doll face. What a wonderful character my Beccaboo is. How lucky am I to be the Nana in my grandkids lives.

Seeing "RED"!

With all the hype on the importance of getting a mammogram women are not doing it. It's your life, your health that you are taking a chance with. Early detection can save your life. by saving your life you get to spend more time with family and loved ones.
A mammogram and self exam are so important. Please care about yourself to the point of taking care of your health.
Some take better care of their cars making sure that they have their annual checkup for brakes, tires, oil change, etc... Aren't you more important than your car? Think about what you are reading here and answer the question being posed to you.
Today there is so much more that can be done if this is detected early. By having your mammogram yearly you can help safe your own life. How important is that to you, to your loved ones.
YOU are important important enough to get your checkups.. Those of you with children you take them for their checkup right??? Well! Have you made your appointment yet? What are you waiting for. An invitation!! You just got one. Respond positive to it. Don't make me turn.. "RED" because you are ignoring an important part of you. If I care then YOU should care even more. DO it. October is National Breast Cancer Awarness Month!! DO it for yourself.

Gee IRISH, after that I don't think there is much I can do better!! But, I'll try to put something together. Haven't wriiten in awhile ,so Please forgive me bing rusty.
ROSES ARE RED
Mary wiped the sweat from her brow as she slowly looked up at the sun. The florida "dirt" was hard to get past.
Sence moving to Florida about a year ago she found she had inhereted her grandfathers green thumb. Her grandmother told her she seemed to able to grow anything here! Sence grandpa's death 10 years ago the garden had not done well.
Mary finally got the last of the rose bushes in before the kids got back. the last being the red ones she knew her grandma would love.
A few months passed and the roses thrived. Just before her grandma left for her annual trip for New York, the roses started to bud.
Two months after that they got hit by the first bad hurricane of the year and had to leave home for their safty.
A few days later they returned to see what damage had been done.
To Mary's surprise and delight, her roses not only servived the storm, the red rose bush still had one large beautiful red flower glissening in the sun.

Roses are red, violets are blue,
I'm in a quandary as to what to do.
Meeting my sister after a year or ten,
Gee, where,or how do we begin??
Do not want to go back to the past,
Rather to live in the present at last.
How do you get the anger to release,
Perhaps then we all have some peace.
Grudges that she holds are so old,
She wants to remember, so I'm told.
Grandkids we each have four,
Hope this meeting opens a door.
Wouldn't it be great to see,
In time friends we could be.
We are three divided,
Hope and pray we are united.
One step in the right direction,
Maybe time we will make the connection.
Roses are red, Violets are blue,
Maybe this I wish will come true.

That is beautiful. I have the same dilemma with my brothers. And you said it so well, I immediately pictured both of them. But it is not for my lack of trying. They simply want no contact with me. Inspite of it, I hope that same wish will come true.

RED SOX 10 to 1 The Bambino Curse is DONE !!!!!

Three games down they came to town. People thought they fate was sealed. Faith renewed not given up they thought the Red Sox it would be tough. They made their play one game at a time. Some won in overtime. Doubters were mixed in the group, but true bluers we knew that they could.' "We believe, we believe" is what we said. As in prayer we bowed our head.
Angel of God my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits us here. Let the Red Sox win tonight. Let all New Englanders delight.
And so it was. Thank you for listening. Now we start the prayer again. World Series is next let's get some rest. Who would have believed four games in a row was meant to be. On the edges of our seats, biting nails Yankees to defeat. Could it be done? YOu know it we WON.
The Babe they say put a hex on us. Hex begone it's time to move on.

Ghost Train
The train it came into town. Without a driver to be found. The lights were on a strange glowing mixed with an eerie sound. Eyes in the window without a form. The green seemed to oooze from within it.
Creeping along ever so slow. Tracks were all a glow. What could this sight be from? Had it come from beyond?
One by one as the trained slowed down, doors creaked open. Forms abound witches, goblins, draculas you could see.
Mysterious sound came from within! Why, it was the mash, The Monster Mash they were dancing out the doors onto the floors.
Driver you see was just short little me.
Party time set in time for Halloween.

Party continues in a few come to Shampoo, Corner that is in WS tonight.. They'll be dancing and prancing.. even monsters you'll so come join Harmony and NanaWOWs

Ghost Train
A mother took her son on his first train ride early in October. The son was so excited about going on the train that he would tell all who would listen " Mommy is taking me to ride a train today! Mom was so happy to be sharing this experince with her son since she had longed to have such an experience with her father but never had.
Mother and son arrived at the train station early. They looked at the pictures on the wall of the trains from years gone by. Of course the son wanted to know all about every train they saw in the pitcures. The mother told her son all she knew , what she didn't know she would make up.
The train finally arrived. The son was so excited he began jumping up and down as soon as he heard the train " Mommy it's here! Mommy it's here! Can we get a seat by the window? Can we Mommy?" Of course Mommy agreed because she wanted this trip to always be special to her son.
Mother thought it was strange that the engine number was 13 but didn't thought to herself "Oh stop worrying and being superstious. This is a day of memmories to be made!"
About 1/2 an hour into the trip mother heard her son talking and asked "Jhonny, did you bring one of your imanginary friends along?" The son said " No mommy, I am talking to a nice man who said he used to ride this very train when he was young." The mother figurd her son's imagination was at work again and thought no more of it.
Pretty soon the lights started going out in the train which was rather odd. Mother saw a figure of a woman in the car she was sure she hadn't seen while they were waiting for the train. Since this was a womanly figure she thought she would go up and ask the passenger if she had ever noticed the lights go out before.
As mother and son drew closer to the mother noticed the lady was wearing clothes that were in style over 100 years ago. That was strange but mother thought to herself "Oh get a grip perhaps she is dressed that way for a performance in a theater." AS they got closer and closer they could tell the lady was weeping. The mother reached out at touched the lady as to comfort her. When the mother touched the lady she seemed to have vanished.
The lights came back on just as they were coming to their destination. Mother thought she would ask the conductor about what had happened with the lights and the weeping lady. The conductor told a story about how a woman was riding this train 100 years ago and had lost her son. The conductor said the child's name was Bruce. The son said " I met Bruce! He was talking to me and telling me about getting lost from his Mommy when he was a little boy."
For years after Mother and son talked about their "Ghost" train ride.
The End
