Hi mauka!
I never imagined leaves falling off in your magical world...I had the same thought while walking to the mailbox yesterday and noticing the leaves already starting to gather. Love my big yard until those leaves start falling... Things are going well here...I can't complain. Thanks for stopping in...do you get into chat at all?

I don't have a big yard I just have 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 trees in my yard... not counting the banana trees. There's the orange tree that give us about 2 oranges a year. The avocado tree that gives us zero avocados a year. Perhaps you don't want to hear about each and every tree. My favorite tree is the pepper tree that has the treehouse in it, aka my ocean view. However, it comes with bees during springtime.
Whenever I go to WomensSpace? there ain't no people in it, except me.... no women, no men, no cats, no dogs, no goldfish... etc. Soooo... I wrote the schedule of chat times down and I'll try to translate PT to Hawaiian alutian time and see if I can show up when people are there. It sure is a big empty cavern, compared to the bustle of yesteryear. I am glad there is still purple furniture in there. May your mail box have good news for you. mrmauka is watching a show where a man is setting his pants on fire. and they say PBS is the only place to find quality television!

Heh! Oh, I was kind of looking forward to a report on each and every tree!
I have to confess, I end up in an empty room most of the time, but if I was ambitious, I'd have a bunch of chats every week, eh? Haven't hosted in a long time...I don't even know if I remember how.

chats and tree report
You could host a chat on trees in people's yards. That might be entertaining ... then again, it might not.
Lets see... about all my trees.... 1. you already know about the orange tree in corner of the front yard. There it sits with one orange on it. 2. the hot pink plumeria tree which is in full bloom. think pink.... very pink... fuscia pink....flowers on the ground, flowers on the tree. flowers, flowers everywhere. 60 flowers strung together make an attractive lei. 3. the avocado tree with branches dying as we speak... and one measly avo. 4 and 5. I don't know what kind of trees these are, but they have little yellow pom poms in the spring.,,, and a gazilion leaves which shed at all times of the year. 6. The pepper tree... with the treehouse and ocean and crater view. This is a great tree to spend the afternoon in. 7. three papaya trees... one which gave us papayas, the other two have leaves. FYI Papaya trees look like eccentric women with outrageous hats on. 8. all the banana trees... in two areas of the yard... planning to ripen all at the same time, no doubt. Which leads one to ask, "What does one do with 1,000 bananas?" 9. The strawberry guava tree -- with reddish "fruit" which makes mediocre jelly. Or, maybe it's me that makes the mediocre jelly. 10. The Jacaranda - in capital letters because it has lavender flowers in the summer, and any tree that can turn any shade of purple deserves Capital Letters To It's Name!!! 11. The guava tree -- the regular yellow one... a lemony flavored fruit with lots of vitamin "C" and good in tea. well that is it. you've walked all around my yard...so I'll have nothing new to report to the tree chat.... except my grass needs mowing. Will there be a lawn mowing chat?

Ya'll do realize that I am partial to trees! LOL Love the trees in your yard ((((Mauka))) I can imagine the foilage and colors your yard turns into. I would be in seventh heaven. LOL Yet trees are fascinating least to say. I was once told of that whenever a person has a problem and can't talk to anyone about it, the best thing to do is go talk to a tree. This seems to work very good for me. So I wish you all the best. Have a great day!
