{{{{{Moon}}}}} and {{{{{Folder Friendlies}}}}}<p>
I found the new Harley shop in San Juan Capistrano this afternoon, and I really like it. It's owned by the same folks who own the huge one right across the freeway from me, but it has a much more biker, less yuppie vibe. Their shop logo (for the backs of their t-shirts) is very cool - an ocean scene with two dolphins jumping in the surf, and a big cloud on the horizon that resolves into the head of a bald eagle. I got one for my BIL - I'm, oh, four months late with a b-day gift for him. He'll like this one, though. He and my sister have taken a couple of trips/hikes to photograph bald eagles, and it has a stunning bald eagle on the front, flying over a vintage red and white Panhead. My sister swears he wears every Harley shirt I send him until they're in shreds. <p> I explored all around the Harley shop - back in the service bays (labor is $75/hour - ACK!!!), the parts counter, the bolt-on stuff, the leathers, even the wall clocks. I talked to several of the people, and recognized some faces from two shops ago. It was a nice, homey little shop. I think it will do well, as it's located right near the end of a popular bike-riding road, Ortega Highway. I'm jonesing to get my bike up again - the smell in the shop was sweeter than "napalm in the morning," and the guy who details bikes was a cutie. ;-)<p> So where are you haring off to next? <g>

Oh wow (((biker))) the shop sounds cool! I so relate to the "smell" of the place getting your juices flowing. All I have to do is walk into an artist's studio and smell oil paints and I'm ready to go home and create! Of course, I usually DON'T, but.....
Well, as a matter of fact, I'm heading south in the morning. I don't even unpack my suitcase anymore. <g> |

((((Moonie)))) are you still in Florida? It's been so long since I've been to the boards, but that weren't too many posts here - good thing it's summertime!
Saturday night, we were lying on the deck, and saw 8 shooting stars, it was so cool! Hope you're having a great summer! (((Lou & BX))) how are things in CA? Hope you're both doing well, and are enjoying your summers.

Ah, mysterre, the Perseids meteor shower! I only saw one, but we are suffering from light pollution. :-(
Still, that one was a beauty!
