Don't forget that Thursay, July 1, is Canada Day, the equivalant of July 4 in the USA. Would it be a bad idea to suggest that since July 1st and July 4th are so close that perhaps we should merge the holidays and Canada would celebrate its natal day on July 4th with our friends, relatives and neighbors to the south?

I celebrate both days. Since I have some Canucks for real good friends.

Sounds good, David. But I have a sneaking suspicion that the Canadians would be as reluctant to change to the 4th as those of us in the U.S. would to the 1st. But double celebrations can be good!

BTW, welcome, David.

Double celebrations on separate days is the best. Reason I know is that I have a twin brother, who I share a birthday. I wouldnt change that whatsoever. Yet combining two unique long standing celebrations isnt what I would do. Just my thoughts on this.
Hugs to all!

Welcome to WOW Morgana! Tis a great place. Many of us on here have known each other for years hence the greys. Check out the message boards and perhaps join in on the chats. I believe that IRISH_EYES_99 knows the schedule. I know that WillowWOW has no internet right now. Hugs to all.
