Cut it way back and don't overwater. I think it'll come back. They like fresh starts.

RED mites, WHITE flies....make me BLUE!

LiamFan....do you have moles? Not personally, you know...critter type ones? They seem to be our worst bulb destroyer. That's what MrGardner here says.

Sounds nice, Addie...flowers in winter!

I've not seen any moles. Then again, I probably wouldn't. Are they nocturnal?

Wait. I'm nocturnal...

Liam, I think you'd see ridges of upturned dirt where the moles or gophers tunnel underground.

When I was a child, I was afraid of moles--their blind eyes and funny digging feet.

lol Addie! Washing the car always causes rain!
Flowers all winter! Must be nice! Do you ever pick them to dry for craft projects?

Angel, best of luck with your plant.

Hi hi Cod, Liam and Lou. I wanted to keep as a pet a mole my mom found in the garden. I put it in my chocolate Easter egg box. In the morning, he was nowhere to be found. All that remained was the box with a big hole chewed out of it! lol I remember how tiny it was and what a looooonnngg nose it had! I've never seen a mole since.

If you go to this page on Shamanism, you can scroll down and see a picture of a real mole that creeps me out . . .

http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/4076/index4.html

. . . but at least you'll be able to recognize a mole in your garden.

How do you all get cats to not eat your houseplants?

Wow Lou! Look at those big claws on it! It looks way bigger than the one I saw as a kid!

Cinder, can you put the plants up high were the cat can't go? Some houseplants are toxic to animals so best of luck keeping your cat away from them. Or, maybe the plants can be put in a room that the cat isn't allowed in?
