Thought I would pop in and leave you a flower starter kit. It has everything you need for your own virtual flower garden. Now the seeds are white roses. There are planters soil peat pods a watering can and a trowel with a shovel and a spoon.

How does one cope with not getting the interview for the job they really want?

Or miss passing a test and getting a promotion by a mere 1 or 2 percent, despite near perfect scores on every other assessment/test?

What's the most productive way of dealing with a grade that is quite a bit less than expected?

With negative or unbalanced feedback on an assignment that took a lot of time, passion, and effort?

Don't get me wrong. I can handle honest feedback as long as it's constructive and balanced. But if all it does is point out every error and everything wrong without suggesting ways to improve for next time, that really busts my chops!

With getting a series of "No, thanks" brush off from guys you might like to date?

With people minimizing -- or worse -- not even acknowledging your random acts of kindness?

With people's blithe dismissal or derision of your giving, compassionate nature?

With family members or friends whose words, despite good intentions, come across as confrontational, critical, or hurtful?

Add to that a cracked bone in my finger, the virus from hell, and feeling sick as h*** for the past week and a half...

Aren't you glad you asked?

I forget. Why did I get out of bed???

That's what I do, and I get home about 6:30 pm each night....

The car didn't happen..sigh..... the guy wanted WAY too much for it, and it needed too much work done to it to pay that much, so I guess I am going to have to finance... POOP!

But, that will cut a little over 2 hours off of my commuting time each day, and then I won't be so TIRED..
