I need to start training large puppies so I can get in shape. We are planning on building a work shop in the backyard next spring. And we are also going to look for a used generator. There are thousands around here! By spring, most people have forgotten about hurricane season.
My current projects involve cleaning all the metal items that I've collected through the years. UGH! But they are beautiful when I am done. This time I am going to lacquer them!

No, So far I have only done sculpture from wood. Metal is actually something I really would like to learn. As soon as we get Dad settled in October, I'm going to take a clay sculpting class in prep to learn about bronze scultping. I figure I'll eventually just learn how to weld on my own. I do know some things about it.

@PoohsbigSister....I would have loved to have seen your quilt...but the picture doesn't show....I have been reading all of the comments here....and there are so interesting.....I have interests in stained glass..... and recently I was watching public TV and they were working with metals for jewelry making with copper...silver...and using...sulfur...vinegar...salt..and some heat as well as hammers to change the appearence...I fell in love with it...and I'm going to look around for a class.....to learn how to change the appearence of metals to make other things.....
