I don't know if this is the best place for this, or whether such a post is even considered appropriate, but someone happened into WomensSpace earlier this evening asking for a chat room for abused women. Unfortunately, that person left before I was able to respond, but hopefully the following will be of some assistance to others who may also be looking:

http://www.embracingthechild.com/special.html

This page provides links to resources for:
- adoption
- special needs children
- ADD
- ADHD
- learning disabilities
- autism
- dyslexia
- divorce
- abuse (there is a message board and chat at http://ladywind.com/whatwords.html)
- recovery
- grief

As questions about where to find such resources do come up from time to time, I saw no harm in posting this link. I hope it can be of some benefit.
