New here!!!!!

Hello ladies!!!! My name is April. I am new to this site, my niece (Notcrazyjojo) told me about this site and I thought I would join. I could use some support, you see (Self) was my sister. We lost her back in Dec. I am still trying to deal with the loss. It was so sudden and I have not had closeure. I am still upset we could not have a funeral for her. She deserved to have one. But we have made sure she is in a good final resting place.

I am looking forward to meeting some friends and getting some support. Just might take me awhile to get the hang of it here on this site so bare with me.

Hi April,

Very sorry for your loss. Self was truely a great person. When we had Writer's Chat she was there a lot. Very talented writer. She is missed dearly.

I'm not sure if DACDjr has some of her writings saved. Perhaps if you contact her, she would share. Sure she would.

Welcome to WOW. Great place to be. Glad you could join us.

Hey Perfectbeat, Welcome to WOW. Nice to see you.

Well Lilly (Crafty) actually my mom was cremated,(I don't know what DACDjr is talking about funeral???) she is laid to rest in Elnora,Indiana. Noone could afford to bury her, we had little time to prepare for her early passing. I have dedicated myspace page to her for her Bday which is coming up. I am going to decorate it on her bday as a memorial site. The candle on my page has been lit since she passed.

Hey Sue said to tell you hello, she asked why you are not posting in DS. I just told her you were having computer issues. Which brings me to what you asked. Click your start button, then choose, all programs, click on accerssories, next you want system tools, then system restore. If it does not work that way. You can restart yout computer and then hit F8 before the startup screen runs. You want safe mode with networking, after that call me and I can remotely access your system to fix it. Also make sure you get that virus program Avast. It is really good, I will explain how to work contol panel once we get your computer ready for it OK. Talk to you later

that's a nice sentiment JoJo. In my funeral plans (yes, I have the written up and a policy to pay for them since I am a single mom of two teens), I will be cremated as well, however that doesn't mean a memorial service can't be held, and I state that as well. It is my wish to not be buried, but rather scattered somewhere peaceful, preferably where there are roses and lillies. I encourage everyone to think about making plans for their passing, while it is morbid, it does help take a burden off those left behind.

(ok..enough of my soap box for today).

HUGS TO ALL! and a hearty welcome to the newcomers!!!

Share your sentiments. Have plans made. Cremation. Ashes scattered. Have a Memorial service to remember the happy times. Told the family that. Have music. Think of funny things that happened over the years. Things we may have gotten angry, or sad over & now laugh at the obsurity of it all.

Everyone has the right to what they wish. It should be written down even noterized. That way no one can fault another.

Seriously, I would want my life celebrated not mourned over. Scatter my ashes to the part of the states I've yet to visit.

Remember me in their heart. That is where I'll be.

((((((((((( All ))))))))))))))))) because we've all lost someone in our lives that we miss.

I deleted a few posts that were inappropriate. In the process, a post or two that wouldn't have made sense were also deleted.

If you have family issues, this isn't the place to air your problems with each other. Dragging other folks into your issues isn't what WOW is about. If other family members post about these same issues, their posts will also be deleted. Please do not recruit others to back up your claims and/or argue with each other regarding the issues. Please take your concerns/arguments with each other to e-mail, phone or any other means you have.

Any further posts regarding these issues will be deleted and warnings will be given to those who post or respond to such issues.

Those of you who have been with WOW over the years know that we rarely delete posts. However, when it comes to blatant accusations after you have been asked not to do it, we will delete those posts and you take a chance of being banned from this site.
