Thumbs up like this forum

Hi , I am new to this forum and just have to say that I really like what I am seeing in the "Midlife" forum. The messages are actually very thought inspiring and made me look at my own miidlife crisis. If only I had chance upon this website earlier. hello to mommad! I liked your posts very much and they made me think about my own weaknesses and choices I have made in the past few weeks. Midlife is all about change and I have been fighting it for the past 1.5 years. When I think about it now, what a waste of precious time.

Welcome! I'm glad you found my posts thought-provoking. I'm afraid I generally just post whatever's wandering around in my head at that particular moment. If my stray thoughts help others, that's GREAT! Hope to see you around these boards more!

I woke up one morning recently...

and found that I was getting close to being *past* midlife! Or is there such a place and time? I think I will elect to just stay here until I die. I really don't want to get old.

recurring bladder/yeast infections

Hi Everyone,

This information is for every woman that can get their hands on it!

I had recurring bladder infections for years and found that after I drank 5-6 16oz glasses of water a day, one glass with lots of lemon juice to cleans the tubs, my bladder infections comepletely vanished. I was told my body was toxic and my tubs needed cleansing because of the environment we live in today and sure enough it worked!
Because of all the antibiotics I was taking and being post menopausal I also had recurring yeast infections and have permanently controlled this by drying my underwear in my microwave. It seems yeast can't grow when exposed to radiation from your microwave! Good luck and pass this on please to all the women you know!!

I'm guessing you mean "tubes," not "tubs."

I have to admit, I had to read "cleans the tubs" a few times and wondered how washing out your bathtub with lemon juice could possibly help with bladder infections...

I've heard of drying underwear in the microwave. I think they need to be cotton to do that, though, so make sure before you try.

hmm panties in the microwave. I was told years ago that cotton panties help prevent yeast infections. Hey (((((Liam))))) how are you?
