Kindle. I just got a fire a few months back and love it.
Books: paperbacks or hard covered

Hard covered, though I do have a ton of paperbacks.
Kindle, Nook, both, or neither. |

Christmas.
For New Year's Eve: stay up to watch the new year come in, or go to bed earlier? |

No grill. But I love grilling! So, I cook indoors.
Mac or potato salad?

We do ham for Christmas or if I really have the energy it's lasagna.
Lasagna lots of cheeses or basic?

Ooooh, lasagna with lots of cheeses...though basic is good, too.
With Halloween this weekend, will you pass out candy or simply turn off the lights? |

We usual have the grandkids for Halloween and I can’t do the steps well. So we usually don’t hand out candy.
Do you do give out chocolate candy or something else if you do give candy

We give out mainly chocolate candy, but a few other non-chocolates, too.
Do you consider Halloween to be the beginning of the holiday season (even if you don't consider it a holiday), or do you consider the holiday season to begin in November? |

For my way of thinking September start the holiday season. We have 3 birthdays an 2 anniversary that month so yeah.
This year my grandkids are older, so here is the question: Christmas buy the kids toys or get gift cards

Hmmm...at this point, gift cards are probably the best, since my grandkids are old enough that I really have no clue exactly what they want. Just easier to get them gift cards to a store I know they like.
If this wasn't a pandemic-type situation, would the entire family get together, or simply send presents/cards/etc? |
