I just bought a John Mayer CD. I really like it. I'd never heard of him before, but apparently I live in a cave. His song "No Such Thing" is really good.

John Mayer sounds a bit like Dave Matthews to me. One of my coworkers sings his praises regularly.
I bought the 8 Mile soundtrack tonight, but haven't been able to listen to it yet.

I don't know but I'm listening to Macy Gray sing on that Mercury commercial right now and I think I want to get something of hers. Interesting voice.

Oh, and Macy is on the 8 Mile soundtrack, too. Her song is good. Eminem's songs are good. The others? Eh...can't see myself listening to it much...it's pretty offensive.
I'll probably reburn the CD with just the Eminem and Macy songs.

Macy's voice is definately unique!
Norah Jones: come away with me. I absolutely love this CD....and I'm not even a jazz fan. It's not really jazz, jazz. It's more a combo of jazz,blues,pop,folk? I can't explain it. lol All I know is......it's great!!

I just bought Journey's Arrival2001 DVD
Live from Las Vegas...It ROCKS! Seeing them live in New Mexico this summer for the "Under the Radar" Tour was very cool!!

OK - nobody bought any new CDs lately??? how bout Tracy Chapmans' Let it Rain, or Joan Osborn's CD of covers? I can't remember the name of it, but I play it all the time. Two of my favorite singers!!!

Klezmer is traditional Jewish music...and yeah, I can hum it actually! One of the more famous klezmer bands is the Klezmatics.
