Unhappy Remembering Sadielou

Sadielou......Real life sis.....best friend......roomie....biggest WS fan ever. She lost her life 10 yrs ago today. We miss her greatly.
Sadielou introduced me to her "roomies" Feb 7th 1998, exactly 6 months before her and her husbands tragic deaths, almost as if she knew how much I would need all my roomies when she left.
She still lives here. I can feel her. Every time I log in it's like her presence is there. I still have all her e-mails printed, (her webtv e-mail background music was 'spirit in the sky') I wish I had a scanner so I could share them. Her love for WS is obvious in them, her humor is in them too.
The Wow's and roomies were the best therapist I could've had, no amount of money could've bought what they gave me. A place to talk, my silent tears hitting my keyboard, then later laugh with them about the chats we all shared with her. They were there with me through the Murder trial, all the way to the sentencing a year later of my then 16 yr old Nephew, her son, who took their lives.
Today I want to thank those that listened and shared and cared.
I will put a special flower on her grave today and mark it from her WomensSpace roomies.

I love you all----as she did.

It doesn't seem as if it has been 10 years already.
I am glad to see you are doing well. Always know we are here for you.
Keeping you in my thoughts.

((OkieStorm))

I remember well how she sat me in an isle at some store and took me into her/your world of WOW roomies and her special d.rinks she offered everyone in the room that made me laugh so. I remember that you were able to console her online friends as well as mourn with them even when things got difficult for you to mourn at home/as a nameless someone tried to stifle your shown emotions.
Here's to you Sadielou. May you and Alk shine with that spirit in the sky. May your heart be ever happy with never again the need to cry. May your son that messed up so badly, from an evil never seen, be forgiven by our maker as I know you'd want for him.
May the one's you left behind, remember the good and not just the end. May you forever remain in my heart as I know you will. Signed, your sister, and your friend. (As tears hit the keyboard) I do, I do...Remember Sadielou.

(((Okie))) and hugs to everyone who knew Sadielou.

I joined here after this tragedy, but if those who knew her here are any indication, I'm sure I would have loved her, too.

Thank you.
The last time I was with Sadielou was the weekend before her death 10 yrs ago. We camped a a nearby lake with our little families. Sadielou and I went 'tubing'. She was cracking me up with a story of how we would go back and tell our WS roomies how good we were at it. With a drink in one hand and a smoke in the other speeding behind our boat on tubes.LOL she loved to chat!
Yesterday was the 1st time I have been tubing since the and as I was being pulled behind that boat...water splashing in my face...i looked up and said "i love you sis".
Oddly just seconds after that we came across another tuber that had been flipped and his driver hadn't noticed...she had just kept on going. ( i like to think Sadielou led us to him). It was kinda dangerous, lots of boats due to a speedboat show going on. We scooped up the lost tuber and took him to his boat...driven by a woman I would guessed to be his grandmother....she was frantic and in tears..bless her heart. It was kinda cool.

What a wonderful story. Yes she did lead you to that tuber. Saved him and probably gave the woman back her heart. Whew!! (((((((((( Sadielou )))))))))))

I don't understand how 10 years can go so quickly, and yet, the grieving lasts a lifetime.
If WOW has provided a place to laugh and to cry, to remember and to try to forget, to lean on and be leaned upon, then it has been nothing but a success.

My heart and prayers to all of the sadielou clan.
