Health and Fitness blog

I just started a Health and Fitness blog, called Jayson Health and Fitness, where I give tips and tricks on how to lose weight, stay healthy and look good whilst doing it
I'm currently doing a health course at university and would love to be able to share some of what I learn with you guys.
It would mean a lot to me if you could go and check it out and maybe give me a few suggestions on how I can improve and what you like/dislike.

Welcome to WOW! Tis great you wish to share with us your knowledge. Where we can share with you ours. Some of us on here have known each other for years hence the greys! LOL Check out the message boards. I believe there may be other posts that has similar postings to yours. Have a great day!

Hello and welcome. Sounds like something I sure can use. I seem to have picked up weight since losing my sis last January and seem to be in a rut!! I don't like it either and need some serious encouragement. I am willong to listen to anything you may have in the way of getting me motivated.

sistergirl Hello and welcome. Sounds like something I sure can use. I seem to have picked up weight since losing my sis last January and seem to be in a rut!! Yeah, well I hope I can help. I heard some really interesting stuff the other other day about how consuming oils and natural foods high in calories can actually make you lose weight!
So just keep that in mind when thinking about trying some fad diet. In the end it's just about eating healthy foods and working out!

and Wolf_angel, thanks, I hope I can help and look forward to learning some useful tips from you guys!!

Hi alex...I am not one to try fad anything! lol I have a good understanding of what and how to eat healthy and my only problem now seems to be lack of motivation. I need a whip! Only joking, but not really. I'm in a rut, stuck in a lazy kind of mind set I guess you could say. I know what I *should* do, and some days I do...but other days I don't. Thank you for your response.

Well Alexis and sistergirl you have to think that you have one body and thus you want to make it work to its best performance. Thus if your body is a machine you need to shake it up and work it to where its at its peak performance. I know its hard. But I am working on getting myself back into a healthy track where I was before. I have Type 2 Diabetes so losing the 40 pounds around the middle is rough.Yet I am going to go slow and steady. One step at a time. Have a great time!

By the way Dancing while doing the house is such fun! LOL Especially when the neighbors are peeking in my windows while I have my Ipod plugged in my ears! LOL

Well Balthazar I lost sixty pounds on my own prior to diabetes. So if you want more info just ask. Yet before you start losing weight or whatever talk to your doctor first! Have a great day!

Health and fitness are depend on each other, any one can achieve the goal of the health and fitness with little efforts. Losing weight with the help of the exercise is not a tough job, any one can easily loss his extra ponds with some effective exercise and burn extra fat of the body.

Hi Catherine21 Yes you are right about health and fitness dependent on each other. Yet some of us need the support, encouragement, and accountabiliy plus some answers when we get stuck since most often than not the ones with the knowledge aka doctors and etc withhold it. Its good to have support even when you are having a bad day for it inspires you to do better and get back on track, more so when you dont have it at home. And some of us have health issues we have to balance while losing the weight as well. So tis good to come and post our successes and failures. Have a great day!
