You're very welcome. My weakness is definetly chocolate. Since I discovered how whipped topping and chocolate pudding taste mixed together, I can't stop mixing the two. If I don't feel like making the brownies for the trifle, my market has these soft mini brownies with powder sugar on them. I think they would work well too. The recipe is from safeway.com so I can't take all the credit. Wish I could think of recipes like this. I need to start experimenting.

I"ve made it with chocolate cake cut in 1/2. That works well 2. Oh and you can top with strawberries, blueberries as well as the whipped cream .. Great for the holidays.
If you do the chocolate pudding~ the whipped cream *dip the strawberries, blueberries into that. It makes for a yummy chocolate fun * healthy dessert. Can't beat that.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the recipe. The picture REALLY helps with the drooling .
Irish, putting cake in instead of brownies sounds good as well. Thanks for the tips. I figured I would post some delicious items for a while. I'll give the Weirdest Things You've Eaten thread alone lol. No more nasty food pictures.....for now |
