Who, what and why? Is Classical your music of choice?

I would have to say that Mozart is my favorite of the Classical Musicians. My favorite piece by him is Rondo Alla Turca from Sonota No. 11

I really prefer the Baroque and even Renaissance composers.. the Bach family (yes, several of his sons composed too), for example. Many of the earlier composers are unknown. I like the "spareness" of it and the use of the human voice as just another instrument.

Chopin and Liszt are favorites of mine. I also like Tschaikowsly (sp?) The only thing of Beethoven's I like is Moonlight Sonata. It is beautiful in its simplicity. I like operetta music and also what they now call "Elevator Music". Sorry 'bout that.

I listen to classical piano while I study, I find it keeps me relaxed and calm. Don't have any one individual I like best as I just have a mixed album I listen to.

Classical music is more likable because it is soft and do not create pain.
