Have you spayed/neutered all of your pets?

This sweet little face was facing a death sentence this afternoon, because someone didn't think it was important to spay their cat. Where I live, over 95% of cats and over 85% of dogs dropped at the shelter are killed because there just aren't enough homes for them all. This little girl, her 3 brothers, and her sister are safe now... but, nobody knows what became of their mother.

While she was having a bottle earlier, she stopped eating long enough to ask me to remind everyone get your animals spayed or neutered if you haven't. The life you save could be a face as cute as hers

Hey Tammy, I'm glad you started this thread. This is one of my big pet peeves.

I've got two kitties, one male (Karma Kitty) and one female (Drexie Calabash). Karma was fixed when we got Drexie (a month after getting Karma). Drexie'll have her surgery the end of this month or beginning of next.

I get so angry when I think of all the un-neutered pets who are allowed to roam, reproduce, epecially when so many of the resulting litters will end up euthanized.

I'll end this post now so I don't start a major rant.

we have 2 males(father and son) they are both fixed. We got the father fixed (Kink) and then found out we did it a little late. He was the father of 10. We found homes for all the kittens except the one we kept. (Bandit) He is now 1 year old and dad is 2. They are both healthy and well feed.

Spaying and nurturering your animals is the sign of a loving, caring, owner. I could really get on my soap box about this. However, I will tell you the sad scene I saw the other day.

We have two feral cats here, the orange tiger striped one eats our cat food, we are hoping in exchange he/she will go out and catch the rats. I am presuming he is a male because he has hung around here for so long and we have never seen kittens.

The other cat that is hiding in our woods is kind of a merle colored female. The other day she brought her babies out to play. They were darling; two black one white. It was cute to watch them play, but we all know they have no future. I just don't understand why people just drop of cats and dogs. We have a no kill shelter just 5 miles away.

My two cats are so old they just watch the birds and mice run by. When they are no longer with us, I plan on going to the shelter and getting a new kitty. IMHO you are a wonderful person if your cat loves you. They are so picky!!!
