Hi everyone!

My name is Marianne. I live in upstate New York with my husband and my twin 1 year olds. I work in advertising sales.

Definitely looking to make some new friends and connections. I used to be part of a Pregnancy forum...but I outgrew it...and some of it's drama. I have a few good friends from there...but I definitely need more women in my life...women that will understand me and where I'm coming from, I figured this would be a great place to start.

Looking forward to chatting!

Hi Mari1211 and welcome to WOW. Its a great place. You must have your hands full with twins and work. LOL I remember when my kids were that age and they are not twins. Still it was alot when you had one toddler and one just starting to crawl. Do not think I can picther 2 toddlers at the same time and me tring to keep up. Bless you. Hope to see you posting around.

Hi Marianne! I'm not married yet; just have my boyfriend. So, I won't be able to give you advice on that kind of stuff. But, I have friends here that will. Welcome!

Check out the message boards and keep in touch. I'd love to see pics of your twins! Also my P.I.C. in upstate New York has 5 month old twins (boy and a girl) Which is funny since she is also a boy/girl twin as well. LOL Hugs to all of you!

It's not as bad as you would think..at least not yet. haha. It was really hard when I first went back to work because they were still waking up 2 times a night to eat. Now that they sleep...it's a little easier. I'm still completely wiped out all the time, haha, but not nearly as bad as I was before.

They aren't walking yet though...that will be interesting. Few more months and then I'll be in trouble.

Welcome, Mari1211. You've found a great place to meet other women.

My former neighbors have twins who are 5 years old now (a boy and girl). After the initial "TWINS?!?!?", they found that they managed quite well. The twins are great company for each other.

BTW, where in NY are you? (Roughly speaking...no street address here! ) I lived in Westchester County NY as a kid, and lived just outside Rochester for a little over a year before moving to FL (with a stint in Connecticut for a few years).

Hi Marianne! You get some mad respect from me for having two young kids and working. While I have neither kids or a husband, my sister is the breadwinner in her family, and also cares for her two very young (16 months & 4 months) kids. She has a hard time, even with family support, so I can't imagine it's super easy for you. Does your husband work? I would imagine two incomes would make it easier and less stressful!
